Cornell Stalker Arrested

NEW YORK, NY - JUNE 02: Soundgarden performs at Citi Presents Exclusive Soundgarden Performance Celebrating 20th Anniversary of 'Superunknown' at Webster Hall on June 2, 2014 in New York City.
While being a rockstar has its obvious perks (fame, money ect.), there is one definite downside, and that’s being followed by crazy stalkers, like the one that was just arrested for harassing Chris Cornell and his family.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Jessica Leigh Robbins, 32, was arrested last Friday (July 25th) following the result of a federal investigation that says Robbins posted a number of threatening messages and tweets to Cornell’s official website and Twitter account, including a post where she said she tried to get into Cornell’s Miami home.

As if that wasn’t creepy enough, Robbins allegedly posts more than 100 messages a day on Cornell’s website under at least 37 user names, according to the site’s admin.  Plus, she also claims to be the mother of one of Cornell’s kids and has gone as far as to report Cornell’s wife, Vicky Karayiannis, on child abuse claims.

I don’t know about you, but I would be the worst stalker ever.  All of this sounds like a ridiculous amount of work and just reading about it makes me feel exhausted.

Robbins was released on $50,000 bail, however, she must now wear an ankle monitor and has been order to stay off the Internet, which is might be a good thing, because I doubt she would like all of this bad press.

Nice stalking to you, Jessica!
