Many musicians are crowd-funding projects lately, and now Rob Zombie has joined the trend and is asking fans for help backing his next film.
Launched today (July 31st) on FanBacked.com, Zombie is looking for support to make 31, which is about five people being kidnapped on the days leading up to Halloween. These people are then held captive at “Murder World” where they have to play “the most violent game known to man…a game called 31” in order to escape.
From the drawing already posted, this looks like one of Zombie’s most gruesome films yet.
Of course, like other fundraising efforts like this, there are plenty of incentives for backing the film (14, to be exact), including signed movie posters ($50), a Twitter follow from Zombie ($300), special thanks on the film’s end credits ($750) and, if you have $10,000 burning a hole in your pocket, an executive producer credit.
