ROGER WATERS Details First Album in 25 Years: Rolling Stone

Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters announced that his first album in 25 years will arrive on June 2ndIs This the Life We Really Want? includes 12 new songs that, according to a press release, contain "unflinching commentary on the modern world and uncertain times." Roger Waters sings, plays bass and acoustic guitar on the album. He’s also kicking off a massive North American tour next month, which comes to the Wells Fargo Center for a pair of shows August 8th and 9th.

RISE AGAINST Return With Eighth Studio Album: Loudwire

Rise Against are back with their eighth studio album Wolves. The punk-rockers gave us the first single off the album today, called “The Violence”, which you can stream below. Wolves will be out on June 9th, and Rise Against will come to town with Deftones on Saturday June 17th for a show at the Festival Pier.

ZAKK SABBATH Announce Live Release On Colorful Vinyl: Loudwire

Zakk Wylde’s Black Sabbath cover band, appropriately titled Zakk Sabbath, announced plans to release a limited edition Live in Detroit LP. It’ll be available on June 16th on as a one-time vinyl-only pressing in multiple colors. Fans will also be able to purchase vinyl on the band’s upcoming tour, which includes the MMRBQ.

ZAKK SABBATH, the Black Sabbath all-star cover band featuring guitarist/vocalist Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne), bassist Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie), and drummer Joey Castillo (Danzig, Queens Of The Stone Age, Bl'ast!) will release the limited edition Live In Detroit LP via Southern Lord Recordings on June 16th.
