Foo Fighters took a much-deserved hiatus after their massive world tour in support of 2014’s Sonic Highways, but now it looks like they’re really getting back into the swing of things.
Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins took part in Sammy Hagar’s benefit show “Acoustic 4 A Cure IV” last night (May 15) and decided to treat the audience with a new song called “The Sky Is A Neighborhood.” The song, frankly, is bluesy as f*ck and gives this writer warm, tingly-in-the-pants feelings.
(If that description is too graphic, perhaps blues-rock just isn’t your thing.)
Regardless, this is definitely a promising sign on any more new music to come.
