The second installment of the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" franchise follows the adventures of Newt Scamander:

Pictures' "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" is the second of five all new adventures in J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World™.
At the end of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (spoiler alert, it's actually Johnny Depp!) was captured by Magical Congress of the United States of America, with the help of Newt Scamander, played of course by Eddie Redmayne. But, and we're sure that this comes as a complete shock, Grindelwald escaped custody and is gathering followers. Why? Because he's the bad guy! And before Lord Voldemort was glimmer in Tom Riddle's eye, Grindelwald had an EVIL plan: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings. Muggles always getting the short end of the wand. In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (OMG it's Jude Law!) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead.
How good is this trailer? So good that JK Rowling stopped what she was doing to watch:
The murderer's being unmasked RIGHT NOW in #LethalWhite, but I stopped to watch the #FantasticBeasts trailer, had a sudden idea for the third script, wrote it down, went sprinting back to Strike and Robin and now my brain's turned into cluebeastwizardmurderweapony soup. Need tea.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hits theaters on November 16!
