VIDEO: Former Faith No More Frontman Chuck Mosley Joins Band On Stage

Faith No More gave fans in Detroit -- and watching online via Yahoo Live -- a surprise on Friday (May 8) when former frontman Chuck Mosley joined the group during the first encore for "Mark Bowen," a song he sang and co-wrote for the group`s 1985 debut album We Care a Lot.

Mosley was with Faith No More from 1985 to 1988, replacing short-lived original singer Courtney Love (yes, THAT Courtney Love) and recording two albums with the band before leaving for creative and personal reasons. He was replaced by Mike Patton and went on to sing with Bad Brains, Cement and others.

…Meanwhile, Faith No More is streaming Sol Invictus, its first new album since 1997, online in advance of its May 19 release. Faith No More wraps up its North American tour on May 15 in Philadelphia. The group begins a European run that includes several festival appearances on May 29 in Germany, then returns for more North American shows on July 26 in Austin, Texas.
