As we draw closer and closer to 2015’s end, we’d like to look back at some of the year’s best quotes.  From funny to poignant, here’s are some of the best rock sound bites of 2015:

Russian State Duma member Alexander Starovoitov – “In 2014, tracks by U2 were uploaded in a viral way to my Music folder in iTunes, with the album cover featuring what I believe to be two men engaged in a manifestation of non-traditional sexual relations.”

This beauty surfaced in April 2015.  Also, the album cover was of drummer Larry Mullen Jr. embracing his son.  Geez…get your facts straight, Russia!

Jesse Hughes – “A great reason (as to) why so many were killed is because so many people wouldn’t leave their friends…and so many people put themselves in front of people.”

The Eagles of Death Metal gave their first interview after the tragedy at Le Bataclan to Vice where Hughes explained why the death count was so high.

Dave Grohl – “I think I just broke my leg.”

Grohl falling off the stage at a Foo Fighters show in Sweden in June 2015 was viral video gold and so was his address to the audience.

Corey Taylor – “You remind me of the guy who brags about p*ssy.  They never get as much as they brag about.”

This was part of Taylor’s epic response to Kanye West proclaiming he was the greatest living rock star while performing at Glastonbury.  We couldn’t agree with him more.

Lemmy – “I like orange juice better.  So, Coca-Cola can f*ck off.”

It was revealed in 2015 that Lemmy switched from drinking whisky to vodka for “health reasons.”  If only we had similar health issues…
