From a Humble Start to the Biggest Food Collection in the Nation; New Camp Out for Hunger Documentary Reveals All

Students at Neumann University joined the WMMR Video Crew at the 2015 Camp Out For Hunger to deliver daily video recaps of the day's events.

After spending one week behind the scenes they were inspired to share the story of Preston & Steve's Camp Out For Hunger; how it began, what it has grown to become, all the people who make it happen and ultimately who benefits from the annual extravaganza!

See never before seen footage and photos from long, long ago...

Preston and Steve's Campout for Hunger: Behind the Can

Preston and Steve's Campout for Hunger: Behind the Can

The single largest food drive in the country is hosted right here in the Philadelphia area. Take a behind the scenes look at the humble beginnings and how it's evolved into what we know as 93.3 WMMR's Preston and Steve's Campout for Hunger.

Special thanks to NU students, Connor Betts (who is also a P&S intern), Madeline Thomas and Chante Hall who lead the charge in telling our story, under the direction of their teachers, Sean McDonald and Patrick Fahy.
