As expected, many of the biggest names in rock and entertainment were present at the funeral service for Chris Cornell today (May 26) at the Hollywood Forever Cemetary.
Per Rolling Stone, People and TMZ, among those in attendance included Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl, Pat Smear and Taylor Hawkins, Krist Novoselic, Lisa Marie Presley, Jane's Addiction's Dave Navarro and Perry Farrell, Nile Rodgers, Jimmy Page, Courtney Love, Gavin Rossdale, James Franco, Christian Bale, Josh Brolin, Billy Idol, Joe Walsh, Metallica's James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, Brad Pitt and Pharrell.
Soundgarden/Audioslave bandmates Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron and Tom Morello and actor James Brolin delivered eulogies, while Linkin Park's Chester Bennington and Brad Delson performed the Leonard Cohen classic "Hallelujah."
After the conclusion of the private ceremony, a public memorial ceremony was held for fans to mourn the loss of Cornell.
