Anthony Edwards is campaigning for a “Ghost Goose” cameo in Top Gun 2

Last month Tom Cruise announced plans for Top Gun: Maverick. The only details he has released so far are from an Access Hollywood interview where he told the reporter:
- "We're going to have the same tone as we had in the first movie. Stylistically, it's going to be the same. We're going to have the same score."
- "We're going to have big fast machines. It's going to be a competition film like the first one."
- "There's going to be aircraft carries. There's going to be jets."
We also did a pretty good job predicting what should happen (re: Top Gun 2 Plot Spoilers - Preston & Steve's Daily Rush)
Anthony Edwards really wants in too. He went on the Late Show and begged Tom to write him into the movie. He even created a sensible character: Ghost Goose. Enjoy his video plea / screen test below:
