Well, that didn’t take long.
Faith No More has broken up again — or at least gone back on hiatus.
The group has reunited twice since its initial split during 1998, the latest taking place during 2014 and resulting in the new album, Sol Invictus, a year later. Now frontman Mike Patton tells “Full Metal Jackie” that the group is now “kind of on an extended break and if something happens, it’ll happen organically and naturally. But I kind of don’t think it will. I kind of feel like we’ve tipped the scales a bit, but we’ll see. Who knows; I’ve learned my lesson not to say no.”
Faith No More has released seven albums since 1985 and is best known for its hits “Epic” and “Midlife Crisis.” Patton is currently working in a new band, Dead Cross, with members of Suicidal Tendencies, Slayer, Misfits, Retox and the Locust.
