LINKIN PARK Announce Tribute Show for Chester Bennington: WMMR.com

Linkin Park will pay tribute to their late singer Chester Bennington with a one-night-only concert in LA that will see the five surviving members of the band performing together. The show is set for the Hollywood Bowl on October 27th, will raise money for the One More Light Fund.

Linkin Park also released a video for the song “One More Light” that features clips of Bennington both on stage and in his personal life. Director and bandmate Joe Hahn says: “As we move forward to the Hollywood Bowl show and beyond, I think about the people that connect with the band. This video is a gesture of good will to the people that want that connection.”

EDDIE VEDDER Plays Impromptu Mini-Concert Outside of Wrigley Field: Loudwire

Eddie Vedder played an impromptu mini-concert outside of Chicago’s Wrigley Field on Friday night. The Pearl Jam singer reportedly spotted a couple of street musicians playing on the sidewalk and decided to join them. Together they did instrumental covers of Pearl Jam’s “Corduroy” and The Who “The Seeker.” You can watch a few videos of the sidewalk show right here.


After 50 years, Rolling Stone magazine will be put up for sale. This move could leave Rolling Stone out of 71-year-old founder Jann Wenner’s hands for the first time in the publication’s history. Wenner seems content with the decision though, telling the New York Times: “I think it’s time for young people to run it. It’s what we need to do to grow the brand.”
