Foo Fighters Top Billboard 200 Album Chart
LOS ANGELES, CA - FEBRUARY 15: Musicians Franz Stahl, Chris Shiflett, Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Taylor Hawkins and Nate Mendel of Foo Fighters attend The 58th GRAMMY Awards at Staples Center on February 15, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.
As anticipated, Foo Fighters‘ new album Concrete And Gold has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 127,000 copies during its first week on sale according to Neilsen Music.
Of those 120,000 were “traditional album sales,” while the rest came from streaming and other services. It’s the Foos’ second No. 1 album on Billboard, following 2011’s Wasting Light.
Concrete And Gold also topped charts in the U.K., the group’s fourth No. 1 album across the pond. The Foos begin their North American tour on October 7 at Cal Jam in San Bernardino, Calif.
