File this under dream car or foolish: Ford just introduced a the new F-450 Super Duty Limited 4×4, a high end pickup truck with a starting price tag of $87,100.
They will continue to produce their regular Super Duty trucks (starting around $32K) while this new line is “specially tailored for high-end heavy-duty truck customers – from boat captains to captains of industry.”
In a press release, the Ford Motor Company shared that more than 50% of the Super Duty retail sales in 2017 were high-end models like Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum.
So, if you have “an appetite for the high life and the hard-earned dollars to match” and dream of your commute being the equivalent of “opening the door to your humidor and sinking into your favorite leather lounge chair” then pre-order your truck now.
The rest of us will be eating lunch in the truck and not freaking out when a meatball drops on the seat.
