Would you try Muskrat for dinner? It’s a delicacy in these local restaurants
During yesterday’s Bizarre File we reported on a NJ fire hall that was putting it’s Muskrat dinner tradition on hold after 80 years. It’s not an issue with the delicacy as you may assume, instead it’s the man hours it takes to put on the dinner. According to NJ.com, volunteers work for “a good month” collecting the animals and prepping for the dinner.

We apologize for forming an uneducated opinion… but ewwww. According to the messages we received, Muskrat is more popular than we knew. This feature on a restaurant in Delaware aired on WHYY in 2016.
