FOO FIGHTERS, THE WAR ON DRUGS Win at the 2018 GRAMMYs: WMMR.com
The 60th annual GRAMMY Awards took place last night in New York City. Bruno Mars swept the top categories, winning album, record and song of the year. On the rock side of the spectrum, U2 performed one of their newer songs, “Get Out Of Your Own Way”, with the Statue of Liberty as the backdrop. Watch that below.
Chris Stapleton also performed, paying tribute to Tom Petty by singing ‘Wildflowers’ with Emmylou Harris.
Best Rock Song went to the Foo Fighters, for “Run”. Best Rock Album went to The War On Drugs (who hail from Philadelphia – congrats, guys!). Best Metal Performance was won by Mastodon for the song “Sultan’s Curse”.
PRIMUS and MASTODON Announce Summer Tour: Rolling Stone
Mastodon have announced a co-headlining tour with Primus. That’s coming to the Festival Pier on May 30th, and Jaxon will be your host for the evening. Tickets go on sale this Friday, but the presale starts this Wednesday at noon. The password is RADIO. Jaxon will also have tickets to give away all this week before you can buy them!
FOZZY Release New Clip for ‘Painless’: Loudwire
Fozzy premiered a new video for their latest single today. The clip for “Painless” was recorded in one take, and it’s the sequel to their video for the song “Judas”. Watch it here.
Fozzy (who are fronted by wrestler Chris Jericho) are coming to Philly on Friday April 6th for an MMR Concert Event at the Foundry.
