Ryan Coogler Writes Note To ‘Black Panther’ Fans
P.S. Wakanda Forever.
Overcome with emotions, the humbled Ryan Coogler shares his thoughts and emotions for ‘Black Panther’ supporters.
He mentions how it warmed his heart to see fans wearing traditional clothing and going to the movie, taking pictures of themselves and the posters, as well as thanking everyone for the opportunity to share this film.
Check it out below:
The movie earned a $201.8 million Fri-Sun weekend and $241.9m over the Fri-Mon holiday according to Forbes, and ranking higher than some of the established Marvel sequels. In fact, Forbes says it’s the second biggest non-sequel debut record in the Marvel Universe, just behind ‘The Avengers.’ They also note that ‘Black Panther’ is the “Biggest opening weekend ever for any movie not directed by a white guy.”
If you haven’t seen the film yet, my best comparison to you is that it’s like Marvel’s Super Hero Version of ‘The Lion King’ with some twists attached. Catch it in theatres now!
Amy Cooper is one with the force and the force is with her.
