Thank you to everyone who participated in the 11th annual event benefiting Wigs for Kids
The first ever Kathy's Cuts event in 2008 was right here in WMMR's Green Room. It kicked off with Kathy Romano donating her hair then two or three stylists collecting hair donations from a handful of listeners. 11 years and about 1200 ponytails later, we now have three hair salons generously shutting down for the morning so their staff can man the chairs at TruBeauty Concepts.
Each of the hundreds of generous fans who come out to donate their hair to Wigs for Kids receive a brand new, stylish, short hairdo and the gratification of helping someone in need. Perhaps that's why we see so many repeat donors year after year.
