31 years after Spaceballs was in theaters, Rick Moranis is back as Dark Helmet! The entire episode airs on May 9 at 8pm, but you can watch the clip from Yahoo Entertainment HERE AND NOW:
In this week’s Mel Brooks-inspired episode of our favorite comedy, ABC’s “The Goldbergs“, Moranis is reprising his Spaceballs character, Dark Helmet. In the episode, Adam becomes such a fan of the movie that Spaceballs works its way into his dreams. In the clip, Adam has an encounter with the movie’s villain, complete with a lightsaber duel.
Needless to say, Adam Goldberg himself is pretty psyched that Mr. Moranis decided to participate in the episode:
