Vote for Local Teacher, Dave Magpiong’s, new Oreo flavor
This month Nabisco released three new flavors: Cherry Cola, Kettle Corn and Piña Colada as part of the My Oreo Creation contest.
We tried them all and the winner is clear… coincidentally it’s the one that was created by a New Jersey teacher who is a big fan of The P&S Show! But seriously, the decision was not influenced: the Kettle Corn cookies smell weird and taste like burnt popcorn. Cherry Cola has weird Pop Rock-like crystals in the icing and tastes like Fruit Stripe Gum, which does not work in cookie form. The Piña Colada flavor is really good with hints of coconut and pineapple but not too sweet.

The delicious concoction was created by Dave Magpiong a teacher at Voorhees Middle School who entered by simply Tweeted the flavor idea to the #MyOreoCreation contest. Being selected as a finalist landed him $25,000 and if his flavor wins the nationwide vote he will walk away with a cool half million!
Voting for Dave’s Pina Colada flavor Oreo ends June 30th. Don’t just take our word for it, pick up a package to taste for yourself, then visit myoreocreation.com
