MIKE SHINODA Releases Another Solo Track: Loudwire

Mike Shinoda has posted another song from his upcoming solo debut, Post-Traumatic, which will be the first release from any member of Linkin Park since the death of Chester Bennington. The video for the song “Running From My Shadow” follows Shinoda through dark city streets as he wrestles with his past. The track features up-and-coming musician Grandson. Post Traumatic will arrive on June 15th.

Metallica fans volunteered at food banks across the country yesterday as part of the band’s first annual “Day of Service” yesterday (5/23). Metallica encouraged fans to participate and offered incentives for doing so. Over 1800 people donated their time and money, and Lars Ulrich even stopped by a San Francisco food bank with a $5,000 check! DAN AUERBACH’s Father To Release Debut Album: Rolling Stone

Chuck Auerbach, father of Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys, will release his debut LP on June 15th via Dan’s record label, Easy Eye Sound. The younger Auerbach contributed guitars and production to the album, titled Remember Me. Dan says: “After getting so much help over the years from my dad, I was happy to return the favor.” Chuck Auerbach actually has songwriting credits on two Black Keys albums.
