LED ZEPPELIN Detail Next Reissue: WMMR.com
Led Zeppelin is reaching into their catalog to put out yet another reissue. This time it’s a special edition of The Song Remains The Same, which chronicled the band’s three-night-stand at Madison Square Garden in July of 1973. Jimmy Page personally supervised the remastering of the album, which includes a half-hour–long rendition of “Dazed and Confused”, plus a ton of bonus content. The set is due out September 7th – 50 years to the day that Zeppelin played their first show together, then under the name New Yardbirds.
FLEA Selling One Of His Residences: Loudwire
Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers has listed his Los Angeles area estate for $2.99 million dollars. Flea and his wife bought the property about four years ago for $2.47 million. The 3,500 square foot residence features a purple-painted door, an outdoor built-in barbecue, and a swimming pool surrounded by “mature trees” (as opposed to… baby trees?).
THE RECORD COMPANY Perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live: Rolling Stone
Our buddies in The Record Company performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this week, playing 2 songs off of their upcoming album All Of This Life. You can watch “Life To Fix” and “The Movie Song” at this location. The album comes out this Friday, and the band will return to our area (after that killer set at MMRBQ!) – they’re at the Fillmore on October 20th.
