Deana Marie’s submission e-mail: I guess I’m not your average listener because of, TwistedPhilly, my podcast dedicated to telling stories about true crime, haunted history and creepy places to visit – everything I love about Philadelphia! I started “later in life” than most of the people I’ve met in podcasting, launching it after my 47th birthday (I’m now 49) and it has changed my life! I met my fiancée because of this show and numerous other, incredible people who have touched my life in so many ways. The show hit 1 million downloads in September which is crazy! It’s my passion project, telling all sorts of stories about this city we all love and people all over the world are listening. Maybe I shouldn’t admit this… but… it’s hard to share what makes me different because I know there are people who have been on this segment who do amazing things… and I’m just standing in a narrow walk in closet talking on a microphone!
