#Hanksgiving: our attempt to get Tom Hanks to Camp Out For Hunger
For the 21st year in a row, Preston Elliot & Steve Morrison are spending the entire week after Thanksgiving “camping out” and collecting nonperishable food items for those in need. Last year your generous donations added up to over 1.6million pounds of food which kept the shelves at Philabundance filled into the summer months.
Yes, we’re humbly bragging in case Tom Hanks is really reading this.
Hopefully all your social media posts of the FORREST WHEEL have sent our favorite – and most quoted – actor of all time to this page so we can entice him to call into our Camp Out for Hunger broadcasts (Mon 11/26 – Friday 11/30) and encourage his countless fans across the Delaware Valley to come out and donate!
