Billy Joel’s latest residency show at Madison Square Garden was last night (March 21) and like previous shows, The Piano Man was joined by a surprise special guest.

John Fogerty joined Joel for two songs during the MSG gig: Creedence Clearwater Revival classics “Up Around The Bend” and “Fortunate Son.”

This is the second time Fogerty has made headlines this week. On Tuesday (March 19), it was announced that Fogerty would be among the acts performing at Woodstock 50, which marks the 50th anniversary of the original Woodstock festival.
