After releasing the surprise single "Lo/Hi" in early March, The Black Keys announced details on their ninth studio album and shared a new single.
Let's Rock will be released June 28 and is the Black Keys' first new album in five years. The album is currently available for pre-order in multiple formats here with special merch bundles and exclusive color LP pressings available at TheBlackKeys.com.
Patrick Carney said in a statement on the album, "The record is like a homage to electric guitar. We took a simple approach and trimmed all the fat like we used to."
If "Lo/Hi" wasn't enough evidence of the duo's "trimmed all the fat" approach, their new single "Eagle Birds" certainly is and can be heard below.

FUN FACT: The album art for Let's Rock was designed by Philly-based artist Perry Shall!
After months of keeping my mouth shut, I'm very excited to finally be able to tell you all that I got to design the album art for the brand new @theblackkeys record, 'Let's Rock". All the text and layout design was done by me, and the front cover illustration done by one of my favorite artists and designers, @carneymichael, whose work has been an ongoing inspiration to me for years now. We share such a similar aesthetic and work ethic and I could not be more honored to have been able to work with him on this. Thanks so much to Dan, @officerpatrickcarney, @carneymichael and Drew Bennett for letting me be part of such a special record.
