NASHVILLE, TN - MAY 11: Brian Welch of the band Korn attends the screening of "Loud Krazy Love" at the Regal 27 Hollywood Theater on May 11, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. WASHINGTON, DC - JULY 13: Republican U.S. presidential hopeful, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee participates in a discussion during a Christians United for Israel summit July 13, 2015 in Washington, DC. A number of Republican presidential hopefuls were invited to speak at Christian United for Israel's 10th annual Washington summit.

Brian “Head” Welch and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee definitely seem like an odd couple on the surface, but that didn’t stop the Korn guitarist from jamming with the politician recently.

Welch and his daughter, Jennea, appeared on Huckabee’s aptly titled TBN talk show Huckabee to talk about his new documentary Loud Krazy Love, which covers Welch’s battle with addiction as well as how his Christian faith helped him with maintaining sobriety.

What some might not know about Huckabee is that he used to play bass in a cover band for nearly two decades. So, what a bassist talk show host do when a metal guitarist appears on his show? Jam, obviously. Below you can see Welch and Huckabee perform an instrumental version of Korn’s “Blind.” Sure, the volume on the bass track seems to be awfully low, but it’s still fun to see these two men from opposite worlds jam.
