Slipknot: See Band of Kids, Teens Cover ‘The Devil in I’
Slipknot, like Wu-Tang, is for the children, and if you needed any proof, check out this video from The O’Keefe Music Foundation.
The video below shows a band of kids and teens covering Slipknot’s “The Devil in I” from the band’s last studio album, 2014’s .5: The Gray Chapter. The band’s singer, Taylor Jade Campbell, is only eight years old, while the rest of the band is comprised of drummer Nate Tharp (14), pianist Anna I (14), bassist Noah Williams (15), lead guitarist Eli Dykstra (17) and rhythm guitarist Aiden Combs (17.) The group vocals is comprised of children ranging from 5 to 18 years old.
The Ohio-based O’Keefe Music Foundation, which helps children professionally record music at no cost, has a YouTube page filled will all sorts of covers ranging from metal to pop to soul and everything in between. Give it a look, and prepare to be inspired!
