UPDATE: Tool Confirm Title of New Studio Album, Announce Streaming Details
UPDATE 07/29/2019 6:21 PM ET: Tool, who has been one of the last major artists not to be available on streaming services, has finally announced when their catalog will begin streaming.
Per the band’s official Twitter account, “This Friday, Aug 2nd, the Tool catalog goes up on all digital and streaming formats. High five. #tool2019” Tool also clarified in an additional tweet, “FEAR INOCULUM, Aug 30th, 2019 Album Art, Lead Track, and Pre-Order info TBA. Thank you for your patience.”

Tool finally has ponied up some new details about their highly-anticipated studio album follow-up to 2006’s 10,000 Days.
Shared via the band’s Instagram is the animated clip below captioned, “FEAR INOCULUM, Aug 30th, 2019.”
Tool confirmed the August 30 release date during a May 7 show in Birmingham, Ala. Maynard James Keenan even told fans in attendance, “Alright everyone take out your phones, security stand down and let these f—ers do whatever it is with their phones” before flashing an August 30 graphic on the show’s projection screens.
Besides performing new tracks “Descending” and “Invincible” at recent shows, no other updates have been unveiled since May until now.
