Most of us have had some strong beers, but they were likely nothing like the new Samuel Adams beer Utopias.
Utopias is a limited edition beer from the popular Boston beer brand, and per USA Today, this is the 11th edition of the specialty beer. Why is Utopias illegal in 15 states, though? Because it’s alcohol by volume (ABV) is a staggering 28 percent! The beer is available in a specialty bottle, which can be viewed in the Twitter posts below.
Since the high alcohol level prohibits the company from selling it Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Utah, Vermont, and West Virginia that just means more for us!
Utopias is only available in select beer and specialty stores, and with only 77 casks produced it may be hard to sang a bottle. Visit SamuelAdam.com for locations, then start saving up for the $210 price tag.
