KISS‘ “End of the Road” farwell tour was definitely going to be a long goodbye, but Gene Simmons said in a new interview how much longer “The Hottest Band in the World” will be on tour.

Simmons said on said to guest host Dennis Miller onĀ Larry King Now, “It’s a long one. We’ve got another two years of staying out there. We’ve already done 93 cities around the world, [and we are] coming back again. But the reality is that I’m 70. By the time I’m 72, it’s time to get off the stage. We’ve both seen bands that stayed too long on that stage…Leave them wanting more. Don’t stay on there too long.”

KISS’ “End of the Road” tour picks up again on November 16 in Perth, Australia and makes its way through Australia, New Zealand and Japan wrapping up in Nagoya, Japan on December 19. A complete list of tour dates can be found at KISSonline.com.
