Halestorm has made a habit out of releasing a covers EP between their studio albums, and fans can expect that in the near future, but they are shaking things up a bit.
Frontwoman Lzzy Hale and guitarist Joe Hottinger recent gave an interview with Guitar Bonedo, and Hottinger said of the EP, “There’ll be more information on that coming up. It’s just getting mixed now, and it sounds awesome. It’s something we’ve never really done before. Everyone’s expecting a cover EP…We’re about to shake it up a little. Technically, it is a cover EP. You’ll find out. It’s cool.”
Hale added, “It’s nothing like what you think. We can’t really talk about it.”
A release date on this currently untitled EP has yet to be announced, but these recent comments will definitely pique the interest of Halestorm fans the world over.
