As big fans of Mr. Brimley and Big Red we are well aware that they are two very different people. The Diabeetus Dignitary took it upon himself to clear up the confusion.
Afterwards he embraced the joke and had fun with it in a very Wilford-Brimley-way:
What did we learn from all of this? Wilford Brimley has a Twitter account and he's fairly active on it. Now, there's no confirmation that it is him and not a parody account... but there's also nothing to lead us to believe that it isn't him. So let's just go with it and enjoy the content:
