Green Day Were Bowling & Singing Karaoke in Lancaster Last Night
How does one of the biggest rock bands in the world celebrate hitting #1 on the Billboard Charts? By going bowling in Lancaster. Followed by karaoke up the street.
According to LancasterOnline.com, all three members of Green Day plus their producer Butch Walker and others hit the lanes at Decades Lancaster then strolled up the block to hit the Belvedere Inn for karaoke night.
In a photo from last night’s events that has leaked out of Amish Country, Billie Joe is wearing a hoodie from Rock Lititz, a nearby rehearsal studio where bands go to create their road shows lighting, sound and staging. Everyone from U2 to Paul McCartney and The Stones have employed the company to design their tour production, and with a hella mega tour on tap this summer, it’s pretty obvious why the boys are spending time in PA.
It just coincidentally coincided with the Green Day front man’s birthday this past Monday. We’re super happy you got out and celebrated… but can you throw out an invite to us next time, fellas? We’ll bring whoopie pies!
LancasterOnline.com has video highlights of Billie Joe belting out “Ziggy Stardust”, Tre Cool cheering on Butch as he serenades a girl with “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, a Rolling Stones review and Tre getting down with Hall & Oats.

As for getting a sneak peek at the sets, we’ll have to wait until the Hella Mega Tour hits Philly this summer. Visit Pierre’s Concert Calendar for all the details.
UPDATE: Tre Cool posted photos from the bands Pennsylvania adventures. Obviously he tagged post in Intercourse, PA.
