Chili is a point of pride, especially for actor Brian Baumgartner. He’s been perfecting his recipe for years—and for National Chili Day, he’s partnered with BUSH'S® Beans to share it with the world!

This video is the best! B-E-S………T.

Brian Baumgartner spent nine seasons evolving “Kevin” from buffoon, to lovable-buffoon, to the charmingly-oblivious-yet-decisively-witty character who gave us one of the all-time best “Office” memes:

11 years since the nation gasped as Kevin’s Famous Chili spilled on the floor of Dunder Mifflin  (Season 5, Episode 26, “Casual Friday”), he finally got a do over! For National Chili Day, Bush’s Baked Beans invited Brian to make a new pot of chili, the Kevin way.

The spills, drips, splashes and kitchen drawers hiding the evidence will make your own kitchen nightmares melt away. Remember: Extra peppies, extra fun.

Brian’s Famous Chili Recipe

  1. In a large pot, sauté chopped shallots and green pepper in butter or oil over low heat.
  2. Once shallots and green pepper become soft (be careful not to overcook them), add turkey, and garlic, to pot. Cook until browned and drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients, except cheese. Bring to boil.
  4. Cover and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
  5. Garnish with cheddar cheese and other desired toppings.
