Dream Stream: Dorothy
Dorothy live on The Preston & Steve Show
Recorded May 10, 2018 in the WMMR Studios
The first time Dorothy played the Preston & Steve Studio was in February of 2017 and that visit resulted with the radical front lady eating a classic slice of Lorenzo’s in front of the WMMR sign after her show at the TLA. [see that photo here.] The station obviously had a positive impact, perhaps that’s why she came back a year later. Also her album, 28 Days in the Valley, was coming out that week AND she was opening for Greta Van Fleet at the Factory AND playing the MMRBQ that month.
In this sophomore appearance on The Preston & Steve Show, Dorothy gushes about with Linda Perry who produced this new album, her collaboration with Dolly Parton, newfound sobriety, the story behind the song “Philadelphia” and she shares a very special, sexy moment with Casey Boy. Enjoy the interview and magical, stripped down performances of “Pretty When Your High” and “Flawless”:
MMR’s Dream Stream is a collection of our best close and personal performances. New videos will be released each Monday and Thursday while we all patiently wait for concert season to return.
