Paul L. Vasquez aka the Whoaaa, Double Rainbow Guy Passes Away

“It’s a double rainbow all the way across the sky!”

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – MARCH 21: A partial double rainbow forms during light rainfall above grass covered hillsides in Griffith Park on March 21, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. According to an updated map by the U.S. Drought Monitor, California is 100 percent drought free for the first time since 2011. Wet winter storms have filled the state’s reservoirs and the Sierra Nevada snow pack is 150 percent higher than normal. (Photo by Mario Tama/Getty Images)

You may have seen a Double Rainbow before, but no one ever saw one the same way after YouTube user Yosemitebear's famous video. “It's a double rainbow all the way across the sky!"

Preston & Steve included a tribute to the internet trendsetter during today's segment remembering all the pop culture icons we lost:

Sadly, the burly mountain man whose real name is Paul L. Vasquez died in Central California. He was 57. According to the AP, the cause of death has not been released. Vasquez had recently posted on his Facebook page that he had gone to get tested for COVID-19 but learned about another unspecified ailment.

Thank you for changing the way we look at rainbows, Paul.
