Beavis & Butt-Head Reboot is Heading to Comedy Central
Look, he’s got a boner.
The he in that statement would be referring to Mike Judge who penned an “expansive deal” with Comedy Central to write, produce and voice a “Beavis and Butt-Head” reboot series as well as additional spin-offs and specials.
“It seemed like the time was right to get stupid again,” said Judge.
Comedy Central has ordered two seasons of the new series with meta-themes relatable to both new and old fans – Gen X parents and their Gen Z kids. No word yet on the whether the characters will have aged or return as their immortal teen-selves, either way, we’ll be watching.
This news comes a week after Comedy Central announced they are creating a “Daria” spinoff called “Jodie” with the main character voiced by Tracee Ellis Ross.
