Teens have always found creative ways to score booze, but Gen Z is taking it to a whole other level. According to the New York Post, kids have begun visiting liquor stores dressed up like grandmas wearing face masks. And the worst part: it's working.
Comedian, Jason Lawhead pointed out this idea - as a joke - months ago:
The sleuth teens are posting their scores on Tiktok. Many are getting deleted, or made private, but this one, with over two million views, shows the user and her friends pulling it off. @claare__18 captioned the video, "Granny be looking a little different here. #prank #alcoholchallenge.
Since the pranks have gone viral, many taking part in it are deleting the videos or making them private.
