After teasing the track over the weekend, Korn dropped a rousing cover of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" featuring Yelawolf.

The song was recorded during the making their 2019 album, The Nothing, but they decided to release it now as a tribute to Charlie Daniels who died on  earlier this month.

In a statement on the recording, the band said, "We’re very excited to bring you our cover of the late, great Charlie Daniels’ infamous track, “The Devil Went Down To Georgia.” Charlie left a musical legacy that goes beyond just one genre, and we want to honor his talent and influence with our own rendition of his song. It is available exclusively via Bandcamp, where 100% of all proceeds are being donated to the non-profit organization, Awakening Youth. Special thanks to our boy Yelawolf for jumping on the track with us."

The band hosted an Instagram Live on Tuesday to answer fan questions, talk about their Charlie Daniels fandom and about the work Awakening Youth does with providing young people without parents with positive parental figures and role models.
