“The Opening Act” stars Jimmy O. Yang as a comedian who lands his first big gig, and all the horrors that come with that. All of which are true life experiences from writer Steve Byrne. In our interview today, Steve said that the movie was so true to the outrageous journey a young comedian faces that his friends had to call up their psychiatrists immediately after watching.
