Social media has enabled a lot of people -- we'll call them "trolls" for the sake of this article -- who feel that they can mock about any aspect of anybody, and that they can do so anonymously. But every once in a while the target of -- well, we'll call it "misdirected frustration of a troll" -- has a good mic-drop worthy clap-back. Such was the case with a TikTok personality who is an aspiring R&B singer who wore a Metallica t-shirt in one of her TikTok videos.

A comment from a TikTok user named "Paytonnsmith" questioned whether she knew anything about the metal legends. "Name 3 Metallica songs."

The singer, Joyner Zaria, said, "My response is, 'Really? Only three?'" at which point she pulled out her electric guitar. "How about I play them on guitar for you." She then, ahem, fought fire with fire, as it were, playing the riffs from "Master Of Puppets" and "Enter Sandman" followed by part of the guitar solo from "One."

"Social media does not do a good very job of showing the full range of who someone is," she noted. "I am a huge Metallica fan, I grew up playing the guitar. Just because I sing R&B music, doesn't mean I can't like metal."

The commenter appears to have disabled his account. Meanwhile, a company called Sully Guitars sent her a free guitar after seeing her video.
