In the Fall of 2009 we met one of the best interns to ever walk into The Preston & Steve Studio, we just didn't know yet. Jake Mattera has participated in tons of crazy stunts, contests and man 0n the street events for the WMMR, but it was his comedy bits and the success he found after leaving the nest that we're most proud of. Oh, and the fact that he still comes back to help us out!
Here are a few of our favorite Intern Jake moments from over the years:
#1 The Chowder Cannon - It was hard to top the Nacho Cannon, but Jake was there to help us try.
#2 Camp Out For Hunger Comedy Night - Over the years Jake has grown from backstage assistant to opener. Damn, Jake.
#3 Drunk Day 2011 - Preston's body shot options were a calendar girl or Jake. He made the right choice.
#4 Lottery Baby & Cry Baby - Any excuse to use this mask.
#5 "Baby It's Cold Outside" duet sung by Intern Lauren & Intern Jake - It's horrendous and we love it.
