First spotted on our co-worker, Ty Johnson's, Instagram page, the Trilogy Meter ranks the quality of each individual movie in a series. As you can imagine, it sparked a lot of conversation around our radio studio.

After a little digging, we discovered that the graph was created by artist Dan Meth in 2009. That year is important to understand the context of some of these ratings (re: Batman, Spiderman). But that's just the beginning of our line of questioning.

LISTEN: Preston & Steve Discuss The Trilogy Meter

Are all three Lord of The Rings films equally a 7.5 out of 10? Is Back the Future 3 just a hair worst than 2? Does everyone agree that Aliens is as perfect as The Godfather II? Scroll through the list and judge for yourself. If you feel need to comment, we've opened the form on our Instagram page.

We stumbled upon a Part 2 of the Trilogy Meter. It's not clear if he created this one as well as it's not posted on his Tumblr page. But, this conversation was really fun to have, so we're including it to continue the debate.
