Froggy – Jaxon’s Local Shots Artist of the Month
Hear Jaxon’s Local Shots Artist of the Month on air every Wednesday at 6:30pm! Here’s how to stream live.
Froggy is a punk band from the Philly area formed in 2020 by Morgan, Fiona, and Brooke. With a large variety of inspiration from L7 and Alice in Chains to Bikini Kill and the Dead Milkmen, they released their first EP, Sopa de Elote on Valentine’s Day 2021.
Since then, the group has played numerous shows with musicians like the Queers, Catbite, and Joe Jack Talcum, and were given the opportunities of a sponsorship and professional video with 7-Eleven for their song “7-Eleven Nachos” – check it out below. They also performed live at Camp Out For Hunger, where they debuted a theme song for WMMR’s Preston and Steve. Stay tuned for new music and exciting things in the future!
