Cliff Jumping At Blue Hole In Bermuda
Bermuda is well-known for its gorgeous beaches and turquoise waters. If you’re planning a trip to this island paradise, make sure to add Blue Hole Park to your list of stops. The water at Blue Hole Park is crystal clear, making it perfect for snorkeling, swimming and cliff jumping. We decided to go for the latter and had an absolute blast. What better way to bond with your son than a little adventure and risk taking? We highly recommend Blue Hole Park if you’re looking for a fun (and slightly adrenaline-pumping) activity during your time in Bermuda.
Grotto Bay boasts an impressive network of hiking trails. One of the most popular destinations is Blue Hole, a natural pool that is fed by a small waterfall. The walk to Blue Hole is relatively easy, and the scenery is simply breathtaking. Along the way, we saw several caves and had the chance to spot some local wildlife. Unfortunately, we also witnessed a rather gruesome scene: a large crab was in the process of decapitating a turtle. However, this didn’t deter us from enjoying a refreshing swim in the pool and several jumps from the surrounding cliffs. Although, heads up, there is no easy way out of the water once you jump in. Climbing back up the rocks is half the fun.
Jumping from the rocks is just part of the fun. Choose your adventure. Enjoy the pleasant hike with spectacular views, bring some snorkeling gear or just take a dip in the inviting water. In all, It is definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Grotto Bay.
