Trying follows Nikki & Jason (played by Esther Smith & Rafe Spall) trying to become parents and their struggle conceiving a child. After several unsuccessful rounds of IVF, they decide to adopt.
The second season followed their journey through the adoption process and the third season focuses on their time with their adopted kids. The show has connected with many viewers who can relate with that process and the couple’s experiences. Steve tuned in to watch one episode and ended up binging an entire season in a night.
