[00:00:00] Entertainment News: Jason Sudeikis’ ex-girlfriend is weighing in on Olivia Wilde’s salad recipe. Geena Davis said she shot down Jack Nicholson by telling him it would ruin the sexual tension between them. Amy Schumer’s son is not impressed with her fame. Dick Van Dyke was seen visiting the Malibu community labor exchange handing out cash to people. The Great Pumpkin will not air on TV, only streaming on Apple TV. The Simpson’s treehouse of terror will spoof Stephen King’s IT after seeing disturbing fan art. PLUS, new movies this weekend.

[00:40:20] Junk Drawer: Today is Back to the Future Day...from the second movie. In a major blow to America’s seafood industry, the winter snow crab season has been cancelled. Doctors in Italy performed brain surgery on a man while he was playing saxophone. Circle K has teamed up with Green Thumb industries to sell cannabis in Florida. Rolls Royce just unveiled its first electric vehicle. Billionaire Mackenzie Scott has donated $84.5 Million to the girl scouts. Kevin Durant is the latest high profiler to purchase a Pickleball team. A balloonist who gave three valuable parrots a heart attack by flying over their cage has to pay 55,000 euros in compensation.

[01:30:00] Eddie Alvarez calls in: He will be at the UFC Watch Party at Parx casino Sportsbook tomorrow night! He’s feeling good, he’s a free agent now. He talks about acclimating to the location of each of his fights. You can figure out a way to win a fight, even if conditions aren’t perfect. Fighting is an incredibly mental sport. He joined a podcast team to break down fights. Eddie gives the gang and the listeners his picks for betting on the UFC card. He does not bet on the big fights. In a fantasy fight, Casey or Eddie?

[01:49:15] Rian Johnson joins the show New Knives Out Mystery titled Glass Onion will be out on Netflix in December. The Beatles are featured heavily in many easter eggs in the film.  He wants the audience to be having such a good time they forget they’re solving a mystery. The movie was shot in two different locations and they were really locked down in hotels for the delta surge, so the cast and him would play murder mystery games on the hotel rooftop to blow off steam. Janelle Monae would show up in full costume and Daniel Craig would throw parties straight out of a bond movie. Two of his heroes have cameos in the movie. PLUS, his relationship with Star Wars and his mark made on the Breaking Bad world. Glass Onion will be in theaters for one week around Thanksgiving, tickets on sale now!

[02:29:50] Random stuff to pass time: Kurt Russell is in town this weekend.  Preston reads some emails about creating movement in space using bodily fluids and eating snacks with chopsticks.

[02:34:26] Kelly Ripa calls in: She has a new book called Live Wire: Long Winded Short Stories. She was hoping this doesn’t disqualify her from calling in for the camp out. She will call 25 times for the 25th anniversary. The woman who would become her editor asked her to write a children’s book and a cookbook, but finally when the pandemic shut everything down, she began to write a collection of stories, NOT a memoir. She makes sure she is the jerk in every story and the butt of every joke in the book. It is so hard to generate press for a non-controversial book.

[02:45:50] Farewell to Nick Murphy:  Nick Murphy is leaving us. He started in 2009. Nick’s job didn’t even exist before he came. He handles video work for our sister stations too. He helped us launch our Instagram and YouTube. He has appreciated the ability to be creative and get paid for it. A cake is brought in by Beth Gardener for Nick. He will miss waking up with us, but will not miss how early it is. We would love to see him back soon!

Blink 182’s “Edging” marks highest debut on billboards rock chart in 8 years. 311 have opened up about the status of the band’s next chapter.
