There is no denying that the vibe around Philadelphia sports right now is at a fever pitch! Our Fightin’s are feeling "Unstoppable" in the World Series. Our Birds are sitting at 7-0, and the Union are set to play in the MLS Cup Championship. The Sixers and the Flyers are also holding their own early in their respective seasons. It’s a great time for our ‘Boys in Blue’ here in the city of Brotherly and Sisterly Love!
Some say the city and the surrounding Philly Burbs have been on a “collective bender” the past few weeks or so… and I love it! And what goes best with some great sports action? How about a rockin’ soundtrack to get you hyped and keep you hyped as we continue to cheer our teams on to victory!
Philadelphia super-group Guerilladelphia, have released an updated version of their 2008 World Series anthem “Unstoppable” – and as you may have guessed… “It’s All Philly” and it’s all AWESOME! The track, featuring Philly Musicians Don McCloskey, G. Love, Chuck Treece, Snacktime, Tom Spiker, Kuf Knotz and others, is a rocking throwback with a bit of a new spin on it to get our hometown Philly sports fans and tailgaters alike even more excited up as we look to bring multiple championships trophies home to Philly where they belong!
The song kicks off with selections from one of the greatest victory speeches in the history of sports – Jason Kelce from the Eagles Super Bowl parade – backed by anthemic horns courtesy of Snacktime. Followed by the shout along chorus bellowing “There’s just no stopping us! It’s all Philly tonight! It’s all Philly!” And to close… the legendary voice of the late, great Harry Kalas wrapping up the song saying “and the fans are ready to celebrate the euphoria of this moment!” And we really are… we are ready to come together as one collective city and show the rest of the world that Philadelphia is THE sports capital of the world!
