If you love food, and chances are you do, then one of your favorite holidays is coming up soon: Thanksgiving. When it comes to this celebrated holiday, people often debate about what Thanksgiving dishes and side dishes are the most popular.
Well, debate no longer, as Scholaroo.com has put together its favorite Thanksgiving Side Dishes Report. The report is “a study of the preferences and trends of people in the U.S. conducted by the educational research company and website search engine Scholaroo – Americans’ favorite dish to spend the holiday celebrating with loved ones is the creamy, delicious, and easy-to-make mashed potatoes,” according to a release.
“Thanksgiving is one of America’s most anticipated and loved holidays, being celebrated without an established gift component, in which everyone gives thanks for the things they have,” the study states. “When you think of Thanksgiving traditions, the delicious dishes typical of the celebration soon come to mind. Mashed potatoes, casseroles, sauces, and other delicious side dishes from different cultures make the perfect combination for the big star of the feast: a juicy, well-cooked, huge turkey!”
